Fortune is real now

Luck used to be a stat with nothing behind it — the Rig's own panel read it as a flat dash no matter how much you'd banked. It does something now: every roll with a shot at going your way, a part dropping off broken rock or a Pearl shell's own find, reads the same curve — +2 percentage points of success chance per luck point, capped at +10pp no matter how much you stack. Small and honest on purpose: even a heavily-built pilot never turns a roll into a certainty, just tilts it further their way.

Rockets read the identical curve now too. Every hit against an Abyssal Arena boss or a World Leviathan — never against ore, that stays its own system entirely — rolls a flat 2% crit chance plus that same luck bonus on top, capping a maxed-luck pilot at 12%. Land one and the rocket deals triple damage, a gold burst marking the hit. The free ranged bolt crits honestly too, at its own 1.5× — half a rocket's damage, tripled, never borrowing the real rocket's full premium.

Calibration got threaded with it too: two nodes per class swapped over to raise luck directly — Hauler's Reach path, Scout's Eye, Salvager's Eye — with two more in those same paths now feeding the charge cell instead. Luck is a real, plannable line on the chart now, not a stat with nowhere for a Calibration point to go.
