Every overlay and dialog in the game — the Console, the bench, the book, the chart, all of them — now carries one identical X in the top-right, with its Esc cap drawn beside it. The old “Back to the water” chips, stray Close buttons, and mismatched X’s are gone, and when a dialog stacks on a screen, only the dialog’s own X shows. Sweeping this uncovered five screens quietly carrying two exits each; they carry one now.
The shop learned to say no once, properly. The scattered “need N more” lines are gone — a price you can’t pay renders dim but still answers your press with one centred card: what you’re short, with the crystal or Naut drawn right in the line, and where to get more. Nets also stopped quoting the wrong currency in their refusal — they cost crystals and now say so.
The Fleet left the Console rail and moved into the HUD, onto the hours it always banked: a permanent chip, on every screen size, wearing its P key. Hover or tap it and it explains the whole loop — pilot to bank hours, dispatch before you leave, collect when you return — with one button straight to the Fleet bench. You just need to dispatch before you go; everything else is automatic.
Smaller honesties, all shipped: the Ledger’s page bubbles are gone and a Page 1 control turns the book back to your collection; the Nauts chip’s highlight stays inside its card; a price’s crystal reads as a crystal even when you can’t afford it; the stat panel’s little i wears one circle instead of two; and the U key on the Shop tile — drawn for weeks, wired to nothing — finally opens the bench.
