Calibrating at Pilot Level 5 used to mean three live abilities, full stop. It still seats all three into your Q/W/E slots the same moment you pick Hauler, Scout or Salvager — you see the whole rack right away — but from today only Q, the shared Boost Surge thruster core, is actually ready to fire.
W unseals at Pilot Level 10. E unseals at Pilot Level 15. Neither tile sits blank in the meantime — each stays visible and dim, with "unlocks at Pilot Level N" printed right on it, so the bar is always honest about what's coming and when.
Nothing about an old pilot's progress resets for this: the gate is your current level, not how long ago you Calibrated, so anyone already past Level 15 finds every slot already open, and a fresh respec at Level 20 unlocks the whole rack on the spot.
