Every wall is drawn from the same real silhouette the collider reads, so what you see on screen is exactly what stops you — no invisible edges, no clipping through art that looked solid. The five walls sit at different sizes on purpose, sized down a third from an earlier pass and reshaped so no two read as copies of each other in a screenshot.
Contact bills your hull the full wear rate, on purpose — it's the one hazard in the water you have to physically fly into, the single avoidable mistake on the whole list, next to gentler ambient sources like kelp fouling or a thermal vent (see Hazards, Wear & Repair for every rate). And the one promise that matters most: the wall can never trap you. Driven straight at a wall's centre from 24 angles, for hundreds of frames each, the drone is never once left stuck inside one — a mistake costs you hull condition, never your ability to fly away from it.
