The Part Catalogue
The six slots from Your Drone now carry a real range of gear, not a handful of milestone rewards — thirty-one parts in total, every one of them a drawn layer on the hull rather than a line in a menu. This chapter is the catalogue itself, and the four real ways one reaches your Hold today.
01 The catalogue, by the numbers
Thirty-one items exist across the AV-1’s six slots today, spread fairly evenly by rarity tier — this is the whole current range, stock loadout included, read straight off the game’s own item table.
Thirty-one parts, by slot
…and by rarity tier:
02 Four ways a part reaches your Hold today
Every item carries a source, and the Hold shows it plainly (see The Bay). Sixteen of the thirty-one parts are craft rows — built for crystals and Parts rather than earned — but crafting has no way in yet, so it isn’t counted below as a fifth live source; the full craft catalogue and pricing are previewed on their own in What’s Coming.
Every live source, and how many parts carry it
| Source | Count | What it means |
|---|---|---|
| Start | 5 | The stock loadout every drone ships with — see Your Drone |
| Milestone | 4 | One-time grants for a real depth or wallet threshold — see The Bay |
| Siege | 4 | Forged from Breachstone guardian-wave materials — see The Breachstone |
| Salvage | 2 | Picked out of the water — today, the other two of The Bay's six milestone parts |
15 of 31 parts, across these four sources, are reachable today. The other 16 are craft rows waiting on the Workbench.
03 The silhouette actually changes
Fitting a part is never just a stat changing behind a menu. Each slot on the AV-1’s drawn rig is its own layer, and a fitted part replaces that layer’s body outright — a different lamp housing, a different hull plate, a different claw — so the drone you fly is visibly the drone you built. The same drawing is reused for the item’s icon in the rack, so what you see sitting in the Hold is exactly what lands on the hull.
The wrap slot is the one exception, by design: a wrap re-paints the hull’s existing plating rather than replacing its shape — see Your Drone for the two liveries that exist today.
04 The fifth source, coming
A craft source and a Workbench to spend at are both named in the design and already sit in the content files as sixteen priced parts — but there’s no console tab in the cockpit today to browse them or pay for one, so nothing in this chapter tells you to go craft anything. The full pricing table, and an honest note on exactly what’s built underneath versus what’s still missing, live on their own page: What’s Coming.
